Los Angeles Bat Mitzvah DJ company heads to Temple Beth Hillel

The LA Bat Mitzvah DJ Tasty crew headed back to Temple Beth Hillel this year for the Levin Mitzvah. By the way, after losing so many cool venues to have an event at, this location has it all. A big kitchen, parking, elevators, nice size room for any Los Angeles Bat Mitzvah DJ, good Air and it’s central to everything.

We had DJ Brian, our dancer Jen Lyons who is like the energizer bunny and our Photo booth Host Diana. We also handled the lighting and we handled the montage with our projectors. The temple has a big screen that you can use. I (DJ Alvis) was the MC, running the Bat Mitzvah games and follow along dances. Ask me about one of the unique games called “Animal Match Up” that you will not see at other parties.

Vivian our young Mitzvah woman had a very unique book theme and we created a Gobo for her that incorporated her date and name in an open book (you can see in the video). They went with the Los Angeles Bat Mitzvah DJ “Ovation Package” Call me if you have questions 818-787-5417

I think it’s a plus to add on a Dancer and would suggest 2 at the minimum on every Mitzvah event. It’s very much like camp where for the best overall outcome you would have 1 adult (dancer, MC, DJ) for every 15 kids. Girls are better at dancing with each other and getting involved, but boys need more guidance. I would say that if you want to get the shy kids and the kids who just want to stay on the phones involved in the games and dances, then you need to have more dancers. The MC is keeping the train on the track, and the DJ is creating the sonic vibe of the event and has to mainly stay in the DJ booth.
