UCI Bar Mitzvah DJ
Yet another successful event for the UCI Bar Mitzvah DJ with the amazing Cindy Lee heading the venue. This time it was for Ben Dynes Kung Fu Mitzvah on August 6, 2011. This was a great party. Brian took the front man position, while I spun on the decks. When we started out with our follow-along dance, there was not one person sitting. Everybody was participating and having a fun time. That’s how we like to start all of our parties. The Minieri family were great to work for, along with all their family and friends who attended. When you watch the video you will see that the theme of this Orange Country Bar Mitzvah was Karate/Kung Fu, and we put a “Karate Kid/Cobra Kai vibe on one of our great Bar Mitzvah “DUEL“. We Found all the cool sound clips from the Movie as well as all the fun music from the Soundtrack and used them during the game. Duel is a 2 person Tug of War game, that two contestants play at a time. The object of the game is to pull your opponent of his small box using a giant fireman’s rope. What’s nice about the game is that you don’t have to be super big or strong to win this game. Many times I have the older girls win this game, because like Kung Fu, you have to be in balance and if your in balance on this game you can win over a bigger or stronger opponent.
The UCI Club in Irvine is a nice central location for anyone in the Newport & Irvine area on the University Campus. Finding a great location can be tough and this one is not the fanciest but it’s a solid choice.
