Bruno’s Van Nuys Airport (LA Bar Mitzvah DJ) Event
We had the unique opportunity to entertain for the Kushnir families LA Bar Mitzvah at the 94th Aero Squadron. The 94th Aero Squadron is a very unique location, and if you’ve never seen it, it resembles an old bombed out Chateau from Europe during the WWI era. We lit one of those bombed out looking rooms with red up-lights giving the room a dramatic feel. The guests all ate inside, but we had all of the LA Bar Mitzvah DJ Entertainment, (DJ, Video Screens and Photo Booth) outside.
As you watch the video you can see everyone dancing the Hora around the fire pit. The video shows two examples of games being played. The 2 person tug-o-war is a game we don’t play a lot but boy is it a hit with everyone. We bring small 2-inch high 1 foot long boxes that the players stand on, and we also bring a couple of thick ropes. The we get a kid to stand on each box, and hand them one end of the rope and they have to pull the other kid of the box, (safe without a bunch of collisions).
At the end of the video, you will see the family testimonial and you will get too see Bruno’s Pharrell inspired hat; I can’t wait till he’s in his 30’s and looks back at that hat :).
It was a pleasure working with everyone, the Kushnir Family and Bruno our Mitzvah star. It was also easy working with Karen & Emily our 94th Staff Banquet Managers. Finally, I want to thank or LA Bar Mitzvah DJ Brian Pierce and our dancer Lori and our super friendly Photo Booth girl Sarah. I was the MC running the whole scenario.
