Calamigo’s Ranch Wedding DJ (Guizar Wedding)

If you ever get a chance to be a Calamigo’s Ranch Wedding DJ, do not pass it up. I’ve been a DJ at this location over 50 times and a few of my best friends got married here… (I think I Dj’d those too). I would probably be there more, but the Calamigos has a NEW referral policy (A stupid one). The referral policy of Vendors is … $$$. If you pay the $1000.00 fee for this really nice book, you can be in this book. But, you are one of the 10 DJs in their book (yes 10, maybe 13) not special. That’s not a referral any more and the staff has no clueof anyone in the book.. but I digress.

The Guizar wedding couple was super chill, and they wanted the Tastiest Tunes and I did not disappoint. Every room at the Calamigos has a different vibe. Want to be a Calamigo’s Ranch Wedding DJ then visit these rooms ahead of time. The reason,, so that you can plan for the different shapes and sizes and acoustic changes you will experience. We did that and we created a vibe that was like butter :). When your an LA Wedding DJ you have to do your homework because your can’t fix it when you show up.

When you watch the video link you would think (except for seeing a  bridal dress) that you were watching footage from a night club, and that is exactly what we were looking for. You ever watch a wedding video and it looks all stale and clean and even in the video it looks like it was phoned in… (yuck). At least to me this looks like a wedding I want to be at. If you watch the Bride and Groom you can tell this was exactly the event they deserved. The only way you get this is with in depth planning, and a DJ who knows how to read a room and looks closely at the play list of what they want to hear. Reading a crowd is a skill that you only get from working lots of clubs and events putting in the hours… so ask about this in your meeting. Call us now.
