Back at it for a Tasty 2012 Music Mix. A set with DJ Alvis and Phenixx on the 1’s and 2’s, blending Old School Favorites, Today’s Hits and Funky Mash-Ups. Just in time for your Summer BBQ or just Rocking out on the way to work.
So I’m coming back and listening to this mix 13 years later… not bad. We always like to mix mashups with new and old school hits and this was a good sample of everything. I’m going to list the songs and make a few comments…but music is music and sometimes you just have to sit back and relax.

International Love – Pitbull – This was a hot song in 2013, latin and dance sounds make this a banger.
Shots – LMFAO – Lil Jon and the LMFAO crew.
MIA – Paper Planes (Mashup) – This was such a good mashup by Titus Jones and I love the speed up in the middle. “Hello Girl, Let’s Party till the End”.
No Doubt – I’m Just a Girl with a nice LFMAO mash it in it.
Good Feeling – Flo Rida
Somebody That I Used To Know – Gotye – Probably the best song of the year. This song just stuck with you and when you hear it today it still seems fresh and relevant.
Call Me Maybe – Carly Rae Jepson – Man this was a huge song with the kids. 13 years later if you play this song they still all sing along to it. This is going in the Barbie Girl crate.
